Project Description: Originally built in 1984 as part of the Fire Academy, the Drill Tower and Smoke House structures have exhibited water infiltration conditions, structural damage and similar deferred maintenance conditions consistent with their age and long-term weather exposure. No substantial renovations have been made to the superstructure or exterior envelope of either building since their construction approximately 40 years ago. The project involves repair to brick masonry and concrete elements in order to restore the existing façade and exterior envelope of the structures.
