The 354th Contracting Squadron is seeking qualification packages and past performance information from vendors interested in providing professional architect and engineering services at Eielson AFB, AK. The project involves a design to integrate Direct Digital Controls (DDC) to the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in the Yukon Club (B2225) and Base Supply (B3426).
This project involves integrating Direct Digital Controls (DDC) into the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems of the Yukon Club (B2225) and Base Supply (B3426). The Yukon Club and Base Supply HVAC systems must be fully connected to DDC systems, building upon existing connections to the HVAC shop's Orca View and Enteliweb front end systems for select units, including mechanical room HVAC units in both buildings, and one kitchen makeup air unit in the Yukon Club. A comprehensive HAZMAT survey is required to identify and manage any potential environmental hazards within both buildings. The contractor is expected to submit intermediate design documents and ultimately produce a complete design based on specified requirements and comments received during the 65%, 95%, and 100% design review meetings.
This information will be utilized to prepare comprehensive drawings, schedules, specifications, and cost estimates for all facets of work and disciplines/trades involved in the construction project. The primary objective is to develop a biddable set of construction documents tailored to address the unique challenges presented by the extreme Arctic conditions at Eielson AFB, AK.
