Description
The University of New Mexico (UNM) is soliciting offers from architectural / engineering firms to furnish, provide
services as described and identified within this Request For Proposal (“RFP”) invitation. Please read carefully all in
conditions. Failure to comply with the instructions, specifications, terms and conditions of this Request may result in
nonresponsive.

SCOPE OF WORK
The University of New Mexico is planning on redeveloping the former Alpha Chi Omega Sorority House on the UN
occupancy by all three branches of the UNM Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).
UNM will program, design and renovate the existing four-floor, 18,700 +/- GSF facility located at 1635 Mesa Vista
developed property with guidance and input from the UNM ROTC Commanders. The ROTC Center will allow for t
facilities for the three ROTC service units: Navy, Army and Air Force.
The Project includes site improvements for utilities, service access, parking and landscaping. The renovated building

PROJECT BUDGET:
The Total Project Budget, including all hard and soft costs, is $7,514,000. The Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP)
at $5,400,000 which includes NMGRT, contingency and escalation.
The project will utilize the "Construction Manager At Risk” (CMAR) delivery method.
