A&E on-call Roadway Construction Services for District 7

Caltrans is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms that may lead to the award of a contract for on-call Roadway Construction Services for District 7.

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will require the submittal of an electronic PDF file of the Statement of Qualifications (SQQ) as stated in Section IV "Submission of Statements of Qualifications (SQQ)".

The work shall be performed on Construction Projects to improve the State transportation system throughout the eastern portion of Los Angeles County in California within the limits of District 7. The specific location of the work to be performed shall be identified in each Task Order.

Unless modified by Addenda, RFQ Requirements Question & Answer (Q&A's) must be received no later than seven (7) business days after RFQ advertisement.

¿        Estimated contract amount $4,800,000.00 - $7,800,000.00
¿        The estimated contract term is three (3) years

Unfortunately, the Department does not have a plan holders list of available proposers, nor does it have a way of identifying companies or entities that may have downloaded the project documents for teaming purposes. It is the responsibility of the consultants/subs/vendors to identify teams that may be submitting an Statement of Qualification's.

Addendum 1 - The purpose of this Addendum is for the Department to provide responses and/or clarification for the following concerns:
1.        Consultant Contract Manager experience requirements
2.        Vendor clarification for SOQ Instructions (dated 10/07/2020), Section II. Definitions, Item O
3.        Executive Order (EO) N-12-12 as it relates to the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)

Addendum 2 - The purpose of this Addendum (identified in red¿) is to correct a paragraph as it relates to the Consultant Contract Manager experience requirements.
