The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Installation of Solar Powered Parking Lot Lights at the Huffman Prairie Interpretive Center for the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historic Site in Dayton, OH.
Work will consist of: installation of 10 each solar powered parking light fixtures and 5 each poles at the Huffman Prairie Interpretive Center parking lot area. Lights will be installed at 3 separate locations in the parking lot area as pointed out by the park personnel. These areas have been approved by the USAF Civil Engineering Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by late July 2019 with performance to begin in mid-August 2019. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Montgomery County, OH will apply.
EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price.
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238210, and the size standard is $15.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses.
SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available mid/late June 2019 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, website at https://www.fedconnect.net.
