The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is soliciting bids for the WRIGHT STOP PLAZA
CAMPUS RENOVATIONS. Your firm is invited to submit a bid.
Please send your completed bid clearly marked " WRIGHT STOP PLAZA CAMPUS RENOVATIONS "
to the undersigned by 2:00 PM, Dayton (EST), July 07, 2020. Bids may be hand-delivered or sent by
delivery service, such as Federal Express, addressed to: Director of Procurement, Greater Dayton Regional
Transit Authority, 4 S. Main Street, Dayton, OH 45402. Mailed bids should be addressed to: Director of
Procurement, Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA), 4 South Main Street Dayton, OH 45402.
Please allow a minimum of five (5) additional working days for the delivery of mailed bids. If you will be
attending the Bid Opening, plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early as there is no parking available at our
facility and you will need to locate public parking. A Pre-Bid Conference for this procurement will be held
on June 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM (EST) at Wright Stop Plaza, 3rd Floor Conference Room. All Bidders are
encouraged to attend. Any questions or inquiries should be submitted in writing to ensure accuracy. All
attendees to the Pre-Bid Conference and or Bid Openings are required to wear approperate personal
protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, bandanas or other cloth coverings around their nose and mouth
to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please reserve a seat by calling Chad Messer at 937-425-8311 no later
than June 10, 2020 by 4:00 PM (EST). This will allow RTA to plan for adequate social distancing. If
adequate spacing is not available, vendors that did not reserve a seat will not be allowed to attend
the pre-bid conference.
Any interpretation, correction or change of the bid documents will be made by addendum. Interpretations,
corrections or changes made in any other manner will not be binding, and bidders shall not rely upon such
interpretations, corrections, and changes. Addenda will be mailed to every bidder of record.
DBE Participation: It is the policy of the Department of Transportation (DOT) that DBE’s, as defined in
49 CFR, Parts 23 and 26, shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts
financed in whole or in part with federal funds under this Agreement. Although the DBE goal for this
procurement is 0%, RTA welcomes DBE participation. Although there is a zero (0) % goal for DBE
participation for this requirement, there is a ten (10) percent small business enterprise (SBE) goal.
BASIS OF AWARD: The award of this contract is based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
as determined by the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA).
