Additional Description The Project Description: This project is at the Wintergreen building and is comprised of 3 phases (1 lump sum bid) Phase 1-Conference Room – Build a new wall with a door, relocate a light fixture, and install signs, including 2 new exit signs. Phase 2-Break Room – Remove existing carpet, install new vinyl luxury tile. Install new cabinets & counter. New counter sink and exhaust fan ducted to exterior. Provide enclosed sewage ejector pump with drain up to above ceiling and to existing drain system at front of building. Remove/relocate existing grilles & ductwork. Provide new ceiling HVAC cassette system with exterior heat pump system on concrete pad. Relocate lights & install new outlets. Phase 3-Food Pantry – Demolish existing wall & build a new wall with door & borrowed light. Demolish part of existing cabinets/counter, and install new counter ADA sink. Relocate/add lights, diffusers, and return grilles at existing ceiling. Add/relocate various devices and add data port. Relocate electric baseboard. At nearby hall, demolish existing double egress doors & frames; replace with set of double doors and frame with removable mullion and card reader. Provide new sidewalk w/ curb cut and HC stripping at rear parking area. Coordinate work with University subcontractors.

Upon award of the contract the following info must be provided to the Purchasing Department:
1. NONDISCRIMINATION CERTIFICATION (Must be Signed)
2. If the value of the project is $50,000.00 to $499,999.00, or if the successful bidder has 50
or more employees, the successful qualified low bidder on this project must submit an
Affirmative Action Plan to the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO).
The plan must be filed prior to starting work on any project.
3. If the value of the project is $500,000.00 or more, the successful qualified low bidder on
this project must submit an Affirmative Action Plan to CHRO. The plan must be filed and
approved by CHRO prior to starting work on any project.
4. Performance Bond (Signature of two witnesses for the principal and two witnesses for
the surety must appear on the bond)
5. Payment Bond (Signature of two witnesses for the principal and two witnesses for the
surety must appear on the bond)
6. Please provide to SCSU a list of all employees who will be working on the job site, with
