The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District (USACE) has a requirement entitled: Wilds Bend Stabilization Construction Project.

USACE intends to issue an Invitation for Bid set aside 100% for a Small Business competition that results in award of one (1) firm-fixed-price contract.

The USACE-supplied, marine construction Plans and Specifications will require a Contractor to construct a sand berm, sand bench, and riprap vanes on the Wilds Bend temporary dredge material storage island located in the Upper Mississippi River Basin Pool 5A, near Fountain City, Buffalo County, Wisconsin.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $45.0M. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The contract will require 100% performance and payment bonds.

This synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). In accordance with FAR Part 36, this is a Presolicitation Notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for award of one firm-fixed-price contract is intended to be publicized on https://SAM.gov on or about the week of 11 September 2023. The Wilds Bend Stabilization Construction Plans and Specifications will be detailed in the formal solicitation when issued. Bids will be due no less than 30 days from the date the solicitation is issued. The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.
