Bid Synopsis: The Wisconsin Historical Society requests Bids for the purchase of Commercial Janitorial Services for the Society headquarters building, located at 816 State Street, Madison, WI 53706. The Wisconsin Historical Society Headquarters is approximately 238,000 square feet of surface area that must be reliably maintained at a high standard of cleanliness with scheduled cleaning and care. The WHS Headquarters employs roughly 300 full time staff with office hours between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM. The WHS Headquarters contains an approximately 6,094 square feet Library on the 2nd floor with operating hours that fluctuate into the evening. There is also an Archives Library on the 4th Floor that is approximately 2,758 square feet with fluctuating evening hours. The WHS building and libraries are open on Saturdays from 8am-5pm. Conference rooms at the WHS HQ are used for numerous meetings during the year.
