BID SUBMISSION: (In 2 steps):
1. Bids are due at 4:00PM on May 7th, 2020. Bidders shall submit their bids in PDF format via electronic transmission to: publicworks@mercergov.org

1. There will be no public bid opening for this project. Bid results will be posted on the City’s web page at: http://www.mercergov.org/RFP.asp
Work to be performed under this contract includes but is not limited to: Stabilize and control bank and channel erosion at downstream end of the existing storm pipe outfalls at two locations totaling approximately 182 LF with streambed materials, logs, ecology blocks, and native vegetation.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities.

2020 Watercourse Bank Stabilization Project
The purpose of this addendum is to modify the Contract Documents for the above referenced
project. This addendum shall become a part of said Contract Documents. Each bidder shall
acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing below and submitting this addendum with the
bid documents, failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification.
Notice is hereby given that the Contract Documents are modified as follows:
Bid Form
Page A-4 of the Bidding Requirement Section in the Project Manual
Correction: Liquidated Damages is five hundred dollars ($500) a day if Substantial
Completion is not achieved by the said date.
Small Work Contract
Paragraph 1.3, Page B-2 of the Agreement forms Section in the Project Manual
Correction: “…. Liquidated damages for failure to achieve timely Substantial
Completion shall be in the amount of $500.00 per day.
