Description Information Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements Division A for the Georgetown-Quitman County Water & Sewer Authority will be received, by the Georgetown-Quitman County Consolidated Government at - 25 Old School Road Georgetown, GA 39854, until 11:00 AM local time on September 18, 2019 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of a back-up power supply generator installation, by-pass pumping connection, replacement of +/- 7 air relief valves, adding +/- 770 LF of 8” PVC water main along with +/- 640 linear feet of 6” Fusible PVC water main including fittings, valves, fire hydrants and services and other items indicated in these Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Still Waters Engineering, 130 Veterinary Way Unit 2, Leesburg, GA 31763. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 P.M, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Georgetown-Quitman Consolidated Government; during the Authority’s regular business hours. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above, by calling 229-496-5700, or by requesting via email from cgriffin@stillwaterseng.com. Bidding Documents are available electronically (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $250.00. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, Bidding Documents will be sent via email or other means of electronic file distribution.
