Description:

Sealed bids addressed to the City of Highland Village, Texas (“City”) for the Force Main Replacement Project (Lift Station No. 2 and Lift Station No. 7) (the “Project”) in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents prepared by Schaumburg & Polk, Inc. (SPI) will be received at the office of the City Secretary of the City of Highland Village, Texas, at 1000 Highland Village Road, Highland Village, Texas 75077, until 2:00 p.m. on June 13, 2024. Bids received by the appointed time will be opened and read aloud. Any bids received after closing time will be returned unopened.

ADDENDUM NO. 2 - Sealed bids will be received per instructions above until 2:00 p.m. on July 16, 2024.

ADDENDUM NO. 3 - Sealed bids will be received per instructions above until 2:00 p.m. on August 15, 2024.

ADDENDUM NO. 4 - Sealed bids will be received per instructions above until 2:00 p.m. on September 12, 2024.

Plans, specifications and bidding documents may be secured either online at www.civcastusa.com at no cost or from the Richardson office of SPI upon payment of a non-refundable fee of sixty dollars ($60.00) per set, payable to Schaumburg & Polk, Inc. Qualifications:

The Contractor’s Certificate of Insurance, which will be submitted with the Contractor’s payment bond and performance bond, shall include the following provisions: (A) the Contractor’s Certificate of Insurance shall bind the insurance to add the City as an additional insured, (B) the certificate shall state "All policies shall be endorsed to read 'This policy will not be cancelled or non-renewed without thirty (30) days advanced written notice to the City and ten (10) days notice for nonpayment of premiums", (C) The insurance shall be written by carriers licensed to do business in Texas and with companies with A: VIII or better rating in accordance with the current Best Key Rating Guide, and (D) the insurance shall include workers' compensation.
