Nature of Work/Contract Title: Vocational Rehabilitation Program Community Partners – RFP to Provide Services to Individuals in the Vocational Rehabilitation Program

Description of Work: The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), Vocational Rehabilitation Services requests proposals for the purpose of providing Job Related Services including but not limited to: Informational Interviewing, Job Coaching, Job Placement and Follow Up, Job Seeking Skills Training, Job Shadowing, Job Tryout, On-the-Job Evaluation, Pre-Employment Transition Services, Benefits Services, Employee Development Services, Independent Living Services, Post-Secondary Supports, Rehabilitation Technology Services, Small Business Services, Social Coaching and Training services. It is the goal of this project that individuals with disabilities throughout Minnesota have available to them community resources that DEED will purchase on their behalf so that they may achieve vocational and personal independence. An important aspect of this project is that the pool of resources is sufficient to offer individuals with disabilities a breadth of choices from which to make their informed selection.
