Description:

The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) is requesting sealed proposals to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the 26 vehicles and other District assets (such as trailers, boat trailers, etc.) in the District’s fleet. The initial maintenance and repair contract shall be for a period of one year with the potential for two subsequent one-year renewals based upon the prior year’s performance by the Contractor, the District’s availability of funding, and mutual agreement of the District and the Contractor. An escalation clause for a not to exceed amount of 3% increase per year will be considered with just cause and subject to approval by the District.

Qualifications:

In order to be considered for this repair and maintenance contract, proposers must have owned and operated their vehicle repair business for the past three consecutive years, and must demonstrate their qualifications to the District by submitting at least three commercial references. Proposer’s business location must be located within 10 miles of District headquarters.

Special Requirements:

One original, and one digital copy (in an ADA accessible pdf format) of the proposal should be sent to:

Proposals are due at the above address by 10:00 a.m. on August 13, 2021. Proposals received after this time, for any reason, will be rejected. FAX transmittals will not be accepted. All proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the following clearly marked in large, bold and/or colored lettering: RFP 20/21-023 Vehicle Maintenance
Proposers are advised that no commercial overnight delivery agency will guarantee next day delivery to the above address.
