The University of Nebraska is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for hood cleaning services for kitchen exhaust hoods. It is our intent to receive proposals from qualified Bidders, demonstrating the capability to provide the quality of products and services required to meet the needs and objectives of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The supplier will be responsible for providing the necessary labor, equipment, supplies and supervision to ensure the proper cleaning method of the hoods and exhaust systems in each facility. The supplier is also responsible for any cleanup of the area including protecting all equipment and wiping down the hoods, back splash and floor after each cleaning. Waste water generated by the cleaning process must be disposed of using an environmentally acceptable method and may not be discharged outdoors. UNL staff will remove all filters prior to scheduled hood cleanings and have them clean and ready to be re-installed by the awarded supplier(s) after the hood cleanings.
