Town of Farmington - Bid 333 Transportation & Disposal of Sewer Sludge

The intent of these specifications is to obtain a vendor to transport and dispose of sewage sludge, including hauling sludge cake (20.5% average solids), from the Wastewater Pollution Control Facility to an incineration facility for final disposal. The Wastewater Pollution Control Facility is located on State Route 4, near its intersection with State Route 10 or more precisely at 1 Westerberg Drive, Farmington, Connecticut. The contract shall cover the period beginning July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, with the option to renew for the period beginning July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 and for the period beginning July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, contingent upon the Town of Farmington’s satisfaction with the services performed by the vendor and sufficient funding being included in the budget for that year.
