NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC

Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as

listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.

Single Source – TIRE AND TIRE REPAIRS (ROADS ONLY)

The identified vendor will provide:

1. Heavy equipment tires (i.e. motor grader, large front end loader, rubber tire backhoe etc.).

2. Agricultural tires (i.e. tractor tires for all size tractors from 30 HP+/- to 150 HP+).

3. Heavy truck tires (i.e. tractor trailer, heavy haul lowboy, dump truck, etc.).

4. Light truck/passenger tires (i.e. 1 ton,¾ ton, and½ ton pickup, automobile, etc.).

5. Maintain an inventory of commonly used tire sizes for the above mentioned equipment.

6. Provide state contract pricing on all tires/services, where applicable.

7. Possessthe knowledge, experience, and ability to perform heavy equipment/truck

tire repairs/replacements in adverse working conditions, locations, and weather

(i.e.mud, snow, ice, rain, landfill site, borrow pit etc.).

8. Provide prompt "on call" roadside/jobsite mobile service for all above

mentioned equipment.

9. Provide 24/7 emergency response.

10. Provide expeditious delivery/shipping for out-of-stock items or odd/unusual items.

In accordance with Shelby County’s Purchasing policy, notice of single source will be posted on

the County’s website for seven (7) days prior to award.

Notice expires on September 11, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
