The City of West Covina (City) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide third party administration (TPA) services for the City’s Self-Insured General Liability Claims Administration Program. The City seeks a firm that can deliver outstanding customer service and provide a high quality, comprehensive program including the investigation, adjustment, processing, supervision and resolution of claims asserted by third parties against the City, its officers, agents and employees.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued in accordance with City policies and procedures. The City is looking for a TPA partnership to provide liability claims administration services in support of the following:
The City is a member of the Big Independent Cities Excess Pool (BICEP). The qualified TPA must have current experience working with a City that is a pool member and understand the reporting requirements and importance of working closely with a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) please see www.bicepjpa.org .
Firms that can serve the scope and nature of the City’s Self-Insured General Liability Claims Administration Program are encouraged to submit proposals.
