Systemwide Corrective Repair of Elevators.

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, a governmental instrumentality of the State of New York, hereby solicits from you a firm fixed price quotation of the prices for which you offer to furnish the following: Contractor is to provide all labor, material, overhead, travel and tools necessary to provide comprehensive repair of open defects on any NYCT-owned elevator (the “Work”). A complete inventory list of locations and equipment is included in Attachment (A) of the bid documents as the locations are within the five boroughs of New York City. The contractor shall possess all the required permits, Licenses and Certificates consistent with the type of business and work performed as required by local, state and federal governments. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, New York State, New York City and governing association codes, practices, rules, regulations and statutes, whichever standard is most stringent. Additionally, the Contractor must comply with the applicable version of ASME A17.
