Scope of Work

The work consists of the following major activities within the Tower 1 interlocking area: (1) the replacement of existing trackwork, (2) the construction of a foundation for a new central instrument house, (3) the upgrading of the existing relay based signal system with a microprocessor based signal system, (4) the replacement of the existing back-up power generator, (5) new lighting and replacement of the existing floodlights, and (6) additions to the communications and security systems, and (7) the replacement of existing trackwork and associated signal infrastructure within the Cove interlocking area..
