Sewer System Rehabilitation Project - Spring Valley

Replace approximately 312 linear feet existing 8” diameter VCP sewer line with new 12”
PVC pipe including reconstruction of 6” diameter PVC lateral house connection and
clean out into satisfactory operating condition at Memorial Park Drive in the Village of
Spring Valley;
2. Connect two (2) existing sewer manholes with 8” diameter PVC pipe, replace existing
lateral house connected to existing 8” sewer main with 6” diameter PVC pipe & clean
out, and connect the new lateral pipe to existing 10” PVC sewer main, and demolish
existing 8” VCP & ACP sewer main lines at Truman Avenue in the Village of New
Square.
3. Testing of new gravity sewer line;
4. Miscellaneous Additional Work.
The work areas are located in the Village of Spring Valley and the Village of New Square, Rockland
County, New York.
