Project Description: The Public Improvement, upon which bids are requested, generally consists of construction of a new skate park, including lighting, electrical, site civil, and landscaping work, and is located at Riverside Park, near C Street SW and 13th Avenue SW. The Engineer’s estimate of probable cost is $1,340,000.
Early Start Date: Upon Receipt of Bonds and Insurance
Late Start Date: NA
Milestones: Milestone 1 (5/23/2023) - All lighting and electrical materials installed or present on-site, permanent seeding and planting in Landscape Area A completed, and 25% of skate park concrete (flatwork and/or element bid items) completed. If Bid Alternate 3 is selected, Milestone 1 date becomes 6/2/2023.
Milestone 2 (7/14/2023) - Substantial completion of skate park construction, including all items except final placement of permanent seeding and plantings in Landscape Area B. Make playground area available to City for equipment installation. If Bid Alternate 3 is selected, Milestone 2 date becomes 7/26/2023.
Milestone 3 (8/23/2023) - Permanent seeding completed for entire project
Final Completion: Completion Date - 9/29/2023
