Nonresident contractors who are individuals or partnerships, and nonresident corporations not already authorized to do business in this State are required to register with the Secretary of Revenue and to file a bond to assure payment of taxes, if the total contract price or compensation to be received amounts to more than $10,000 (K.S.A. 79-1009, K.S.A. Supp. 79-1010).

No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of 30 days following the opening of Bids. The Riley County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive formalities in considering Bids and to accept the Bid which, in the Board's opinion, is in the best interest of Riley County.
