Prairie Village is requesting Architectural Design Services for a Site Design Study to evaluate locations for a new community center and relocation of the Corinth Library Branch for Johnson County Library. The City of Prairie Village has entered into separate Memorandums of Understanding “MOU” with the YMCA as the operational manager of the proposed community center and Johnson County Library “Library” to evaluate potential site locations within Harmon Park. The community center project would be in partnership with the YMCA as the operational manager and replace the current Paul Henson YMCA facility. The Johnson County Library is interested in exploring the possibility of relocating the Corinth Library Branch in proximity to the Community Center. It is anticipated that this phase of the project will include all initial site design and community engagement.
