Description

The City of Rochester, through its Architectural Services department, is soliciting proposals for architecture and engineering services, schematic design through construction administration for the following:

The scope will include architectural and engineering services for program review, design, bid/award and construction administration services for the renovation of the 2nd floor Public Safety Building Suite 208 and vending/break area. Proposed elements of the building renovation include, but are not limited to: removing wall between existing office space and vending/break room to accommodate five (5) private offices, one (1) shared private office accommodating three staff, one (1) large conference room to hold 15-20 people and eighteen (18) cubicles. Renovations will also include new paint, flooring, acoustical ceiling, HVAC, electrical/teledata and access control modifications (including exit signs, lighting, doors/hardware as required).

This project is fully financed with American Recovery Plan Act funds and is subject to the criteria associated with this funding. Construction contracts must be executed prior to December 31, 2024 and construction activities must be completed by December 31, 2026. Davis-Bacon wage rates are required.

Pre-Proposal Meeting

A pre-proposal meeting for interested consultants will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Public Safety Building, Suite 208, 185 Exchange Blvd. Rochester, NY 14614.
