RFA 2019 DCJS OPS Law Enforcement Training

The DIvision of Criminal Justice Services is providing the opportunity of interested new applicants, not currently on DCJS" list of approved instructors/consultantsthat that applied after April 1, 2019, to be added to the existing active list of qualified instructors/consultants to teach various law enforcement training courses. The Division seeks to expand its list of potential instructors/consultants with whom it can contract with in the future to provide law enforcement related training. Submissions received under this RFA will remain on DCJS' active list until March 31, 2023,or until 90 days after expiration of this ad, unless withdrawn by the applicant or removed by the Division. The DIvision will accept applications which meet the requirements of the RFA throughout the life of the list. There is no guarantee that new applicants will be selected to teach any courses. Courses are scheduled by the Division to accommodate demand considering available resources.

Training courses include, but are not limited to accreditation, breath analysis operator, commercial vehicle enforcement, conducted energy devices, counter-terrorism, court security, crash management series, crime analysis, crime mapping, crime scene handling, crime scene photography, criminal investigations, death investigations, DWI detection and standardized field sobriety testing, defensive tactics, drug abuse, evidence, firearms, forensic science, fraudulent documents, gangs, graphics, investigations, interviews and/or interrogations, leadership/management skills, legal issues, officer safety, physical fitness, school resource officer skills, and use of chemical agents.
