REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION-BASED BIDS RFQB2022-6 - CRIMINAL JUSTICE CENTER – HVAC SYSTEMS CONTRACTING SERVICES

BARROW COUNTY, GEORGIA

GENERAL:

Barrow County, Georgia (“Barrow County”) is in the process of securing Qualification-Based Bids to provide HVAC Contracting services for the upgrade and retrofit of HVAC Systems at the Criminal Justice Center. In brief, Barrow County, GA is requesting that qualified HVAC Contracting firm’s bid on upgrading and retrofitting HVAC Systems.

INQUIRIES: Questions relating to this RFQB must be submitted in writing to: Cindy Clack, Senior Buyer (email: cclack@barrowga.org). The deadline for submission of questions relating to this RFQB shall be 12:00 (Noon “Local Time”), Monday, January 24, 2022. All questions submitted in writing prior to the deadline will be compiled, answered in writing, and posted to the website as an addendum.

MANDATORY PRE-QUALIFICATIONS BASED BID CONFERENCE: A Mandatory Pre-Qualifications Based Bid Conference will be conducted Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 10:00 AM “Local Time” at Barrow County Criminal Justice Center, 652 Barrow Park Drive, Winder, GA 30680. The meeting will be in the Detention Center Training Room. Parties should enter at the Detention Center Lobby and will be escorted to the Training Room. Failure to attend this mandatory conference disqualifies you from submitting a Qualifications-Based Bid. NO EXCEPTIONS. NOTE: No weapons are allowed in the facility at any time.

SEALED QUALIFICATIONS: An original, four copies, and an Electronic version on a USB, of the Submission must be submitted in a sealed envelope/package, addressed to Barrow County. Attachment I – Bid Form is to be provided in a separate sealed envelope than the Qualifications Submission. Each sealed envelope/package containing a Qualifications must be plainly marked on the outside as “RFQB2022-6 Criminal Justice Center – HVAC Systems Contracting Services".

QUALIFICATIONS BASED BIDS SHALL BE SUBMITTED to the Barrow County Board of Commissioners

County Clerk’s Office at 30 North Broad Street, Winder, GA 30680. Sealed Qualifications will be accepted no later than 12:00 p.m. (Noon “Local Time”) Thursday, February 03, 2022. Any Qualifications received after said time and date will not be considered by Barrow County. Qualifications will be opened in the Historic Courthouse Conference Room at 30 North Broad Street at 2:00 p.m. “Local Time”, February 03, 2022.
