A REQUEST FOR
QUALIFICATIONS FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES
PERIMETER FAN COIL SYSTEM
REPLACEMENT, INDOOR AIR QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS, AND
ENERGY COST REDUCTION
MEASUREMENTS AT THE
WINTHROP ROCKEFELLER BUILDING, 615-RFQ-2201
Division of Building Authority is soliciting responses from qualified consultants to provide basic Professional Engineering services as defined by the TSS/Division of Building Authority Minimum Standards and Criteria (MSC) for Perimeter Fan Coil System Replacement, Indoor Air Quality Improvements, and Energy Cost Reduction Measures located at 501 Woodlane Street (Winthrop P. Rockefeller Building in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
The project shall generally consist of replacing the majority of perimeter fan coil units within the entire building, replacing the hydronic piping to/from those units, conversion of approximately one half of the building’s existing hydronic system from a 2-pipe to a 4-pipe system, interconnection and reprogramming of the building’s existing chillers, removal of various pump balancing valves, conversion of the building’s primary hydronic systems from constant flow to variable flow, partial economization of existing air handler units, replacement of various condenser water piping, automation of cooling tower water bypasses and indoor air quality improvements. The engineering services shall include both design services and contract administration services for the project.
A detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) package will be provided to interested parties outlining the submittal requirements and selection methodology. Responses received for this RFQ will be used to screen prospective consultants and select finalist for interview in accordance with the MSC. The Agency reserves the right to award one or more contracts under this solicitation and to negotiate fees on a percentage basis, lump sum basis or an hourly not-to-exceed basis on individual project assignments as appropriate for the contemplated work.
The deadline for submitting detailed responses to this RFQ will be November 5, 2021, 4:30pm.
