Request for Qualifications for On-Call Architectural Firm to Provide Project Design and Construction Activities Services

The City of Pleasanton’s Community Development Department is currently seeking to retain architectural firm/s for on-call services. The term of the contract will be three (3) years (2023 – 2026), with a not to exceed, aggregate total contract amount of $500,000 on an as-needed basis and does not guarantee work. Anticipated services are for project design and construction activities and may include, but are not limited to, general consulting, peer review, architectural services, plan checking, Capital Improvement Program project design, providing architectural recommendations for emergency situations, computer or manual drafting, and other tasks associated with Public Works building design, construction, and/or operation as assigned and directed by the City Engineer. These services will provide support for architectural services for various City capital improvements. This Request for Qualification (RFQ) describes the Scope of Services, the necessary components of the Statement of Qualification (Statement), the consultant selection process, and a sample copy of the Standard Professional Services Agreement. This RFQ also describes the required format of the submitted Statement of Qualification. Addenda to this RFQ, if issued, will be sent to all prospective Consultants that the City of Pleasanton has specifically e-mailed a copy of the RFQ to and will be posted on the City of Pleasanton website at: http://www.cityofpleasantonca.gov/business/bids.asp
