The work performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to Repair the Boilers in Building 2001, Live Oak Dining Facility as described in the Statement of Work and as shown on the plans and specifications. This work will involve removing and disposing of existing Water Heaters - WH-1 and WH-2. Dispose of the two water heaters as asbestos containing equipment. Disconnecting all water and gas pipe, electrical circuits and flue vent piping associated with the water heaters. Shutting off and capping all valves in existing domestic hot water pipes and gas pipe that connect to the water heaters. Installing two new instantaneous water heaters, new domestic hot water supply header pipe and domestic hot water return header pipe. Install and connect branch line piping from new headers to the new water heaters. Connect gas line from existing gas supply to new water heaters. Connect electrical power to new water heaters. Install new flue vent from boiler up to the roof. Providing all materials and equipment to include, but not limited to, new water heaters, pipe, pipe fittings, valves, flue vent pipe and fittings, electrical materials, and insulation for a complete functioning domestic hot water system.

This acquisition will be awarded to a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business Concern, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested, responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220. The size standard is $15 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.fbo.gov on/or around 27 June 2017 with a tentative closing date of 21 July 2017. The contract performance period will be 120 days from the Notice to Proceed.
