Overview: The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids to p rovide all materials, and equipment necessary for removal and replacement of the existing trench drain system in the South Storage Bay of the Osceola Maintenance Garage as per plans/specifications included in this solicitation. Project includes salvaging and cleaning of existing trench drain cast grates for reinstallation, removal and disposal of other existing items off-site, and installation of new concrete trench drain system. Off-site disposal of all demolition debris is required.
Work is to be completed by an Iowa licensed Concrete contractor.
The project period to begin upon award; and to be completed on or before November 24, 2021 or as determined by project manager after preconstruction meeting.
Award : It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
All questions related to this project are to be submitted through the IONwave Bid system through the cut off period for question submissions.

The Iowa DOT is exempt from sales tax. Sales tax is not to be included in your bid amount.
