REHABILITATION TECHNICAL SERVICES

The Town Council appropriated ARPA funds to “develop and implement a Residential Building Assistance Program to assist with private renovation or general improvements to residential buildings.” This funding was awarded to establish a revolving housing assistance fund. Funding would be made available to individuals and families in need for two components: (1) home rehabilitation no interest deferred loans, to qualifying households up to 100% Area Median Income (AMI). (2) First time home-buyers Down payment assistance grants for qualifying Households to purchase a Groton home. This grant is targeting low to moderate income households with a maximum income threshold of 150% Area Median Income (AMI).
