Refuse Transfer Facility for Sunken Meadow State Park

The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is soliciting bids for a refuse transfer facility to receive approximately 375 tons of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) annually from Sunken Meadow State Park in our Long Island region. Also, considering wear and tear on OPRHP vehicles as well as staff time utilized for transportation, the provided transfer facility address must be located less than 50 miles round trip (maximum 25 miles one-way) from Sunken Meadow State Park located at 1 Sunken Meadow Pkwy, Kings Park, NY 11754. Bidders must use Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) to determine the miles to Sunken Meadow State Park.
