NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to furnish all materials, labor and equipment to prepare surfaces and apply decorative vinyl wrap, over-laminate and edge sealer, inspect and test all designated surfaces for 12 instrument houses and 6 substations with a decorative brick pattern in Rancho Cordova.

This is a public works project financed by local Revenue Bonds, Federal and State funds. This project is subject to the Buy America provisions set forth in 49 USC 5323 and 49 CFR Part 661. All bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors. Contractors must comply with all EEO laws and regulations.
No DBE or SBE goal has been established for this Contract. Nonetheless, prospective Bidders are encouraged to call SacRTs Manager, Contracts and DBE at (916) 556-0151 for assistance in identifying DBEs or SBEs available for solicitation to participate on this Contract
This is a Federally-funded and State-funded public works project for which the higher of State or Federal General Prevailing wages apply. A copy of applicable general prevailing wage rates are included in the bid document. Payment and Performance bonds will be required in the amounts set forth in the specifications. Contractor license classification at the time of bid must be Class A or Class B or Class C33 or D12.
SacRT hereby notifies all bidders it will affirmatively ensure that, in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this solicitation, all contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit a bid in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, creed, sex, disability, age, or national origin in consideration for an award.
Sealed bids must be received by the Procurement Services at 1400 29th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816 by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Local Time, Friday, September 22, 2017. Bids will be publicly opened on the same date at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the O Street East Conference Room at said address.
