Listing Summary

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Corners Connector Town Center will be received by City of
Peachtree Corners, Georgia, at Peachtree Corners City Hall located at 310 Technology Parkway,
Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092, until 2:00 P.M. local time on March 17, 2021, at which time the Bids
received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing concrete trail, boardwalk,
storm drainage improvements, retaining walls, stream restoration, landscaping, and grading.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with
additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Keck & Wood, Inc., 3090 Premiere Pkwy, Suite 200,

Prospective Bidders may obtain an electronic copy of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as
described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at Construct Connect (Online Plan Room)
www.constructconnect.com; online at Dodge Data & Analytics (Online Plan Room)
www.construction.com/projectcenter; or at Peachtree Corners City Hall located at 310 Technology
Parkway, Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00
AM to 3:30PM by appointment only.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office indicated above. Bidding Documents are
available on electronic media (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of
$25. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the
prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not
be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets
of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount. No bid
may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to
reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds
either a Georgia State Contractor's License, Georgia State Utility Contractor’s License, or qualifications
with the Georgia Department of Transportation for similar work, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43‑14
and 43-41. Failure to provide the bidder’s license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed
proposal will result in rejection of the bid.
If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award the Contract on the basis of the base bid plus selected
alternatives.
All required federal, state, and local permits as well as required easements or rights of way for the project
have been obtained.
Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work
within the Contract Time of 180 calendar days. Owner shall make progress payments on account of the
Contract Price on the basis of Contractor’s Applications for Payment submitted once per month as
provided in the General Conditions.
