The West Memphis Transit (WMT) is seeking proposals form qualified mobility technology providers and qualified turn-key operation providers to assist with the development and deployment of a new Microtransit Program. This Microtransit service would be provided through either Project #1: software application platform (SaaS) or Project #2: a Transportation as a Service (TaaS). Through these hybrid approaches, the service delivery model will be tailored to match the needs and resources of the West Memphis Transit (WMT). This project is subject to funding from the City of West Memphis that is not to exceed a total of $1,000,000.00, in part by the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA), the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA).
Proposals shall be addressed to the Mayor of West Memphis and marked either: “On-Demand/Microtransit Service Planning and Software”, or “On-Demand/Microtransit Turn-Key Service Planning, Software, and Operations and will be received until 4:00 p.m. Central Time, December 29, 2021, at which time they will be opened all hand delivered or mailed in RFP’s may be mailed to City of West Memphis MPO, 203 S. Avalon, West Memphis, AR 72301. A non-required Pre-Proposal Meeting will take place via a Zoom application as noted on the RFP.
