Police Auctioneer Services

The first on-site service visit date for all services will be on a date approved by the County and will be as soon as practical after the start of the Contract.

The Auctioneer Contractor must respond to the Vehicle Recovery Section (VRS) storage lot at 305 Metropolitan Grove Rd, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878 on a date and time specified by the VRS Manager or designee as prescribed below.

The auction date will occur on the fourth Saturday of each month, unless otherwise changed by the VRS Manager or designee. If the auction date is to be changed from the fourth Saturday of a specific month, at least 3-weeks’ notice will be provided to the Auctioneer Contractor in advance of the new auction date. The 3-weeks’ notice of a change rule may be waived at the sole discretion of the VRS Manager in extenuating circumstances.
