The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates the need for a firm-fixed-price contract for a project entitled Paving Building Foundation at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Englewood.
FCI Englewood is located at 9595 W. Quincy Ave., Littleton, CO 80123.
The following brief synopsis should not be considered inclusive of work required to complete the project. All work described in specifications and all work necessary to complete the work as described or shown is to be executed in a thoroughly substantial and workmanlike manner. All work shall be done by persons who are thoroughly experienced in their particular trade or craft. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following description: The contractor shall construct the foundation system for a new, pre-engineered 50' x 100' building. FCI Englewood shall self-erect the building. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools and equipment to complete the installation.
The performance period for the project will be 180 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $500,000 and $1,000,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.)
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238110 with a corresponding small business size standard of $15 million.
Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
The BOP is seeking small business contractors for this project. Your business size metrics information entered in you SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above . Interested small business contractors are requested to respond to this notice by adding their names to the Interested Vendors List for this posting in FedBizOpps.gov (must be logged-in to your account).
The synopsis of proposed contract action will include further instruction for responding to this opportunity. Interested bidders are advised to continuously monitor FedBizOpps.gov for all future updates.
