• Prioritize the selection of posts and systems upgraded in alignment with DOS mission priorities;
• Continually improve technical security capability to reduce security vulnerabilities and ensure a safe working environment for the U.S. foreign affairs community;
• Meet customer requirements for quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency;
• Enhance customer service by coordinating project activities to minimize interference with post activities; and,
• Manage costs effectively to ensure that limited funding can serve as many posts as possible.
The solicitation, when finalized, will be available on or about 03 May 2019. All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are not requested to provide notice of their interest in the solicitation.
No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: the synopsis will be posted for approximately fifteen (15) days. Once the solicitation announcement closes on FedBizOpps, the Offerors will have approximately fourteen (14) days to submit Phase I (Performance Confidence Assessment) proposals. The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the solicitation and shall be handled in accordance with the instructions contained in Section L. The contract is anticipated to be awarded within approximately one-hundred-twenty (120) days after 1st Phase proposal submission. All dates are subject to change and Offerors will be notified of any changes.
We will not be handling Question and Answers (Q&A) at this time via phone or email. Q&A will be handled during the Q&A period of the solicitation only.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210. This requirement will be solicited under full and open competition. Partial or incomplete offers will not be accepted or considered.
