GRANITE SCHOOL DISTRICT
PURCHASING DEPARTMENT
INVITATION FOR BID
JF21-002 IFB
Granite School District (GSD) Purchasing is soliciting competitive pricing from qualified vendor(s) to provide classroom
sets of Texas Instrument NSpire CX II calculators, NSpire CX Navigator, add on wireless "HATS", Innovator Rover and
Innovator Hub for the Gear Up program to serve several secondary schools. This is a one time purchase of sets to be
delivered to multiple school locations in GSD. Pricing is to be valid for one year. GSD reserves the right to order
additional sets beyond the quantities listed in this bid.
VENDOR MUST USE BID FORM to submit bid.
This purchase is being made utilizing a GEAR UP Grant. GEAR UP grants require a dollar
for dollar match, meaning that Granite School District as the grantee must receive an
equal dollar amount of match in the form of donated funds and/or volunteer time and
effort to match the amount of the federal GEAR UP grant money spent. As we look for
vendors, we must find partners that are willing to donate match for our purchase. In the
past, vendors have made donations such as one-time implementation fees, software
licenses, extended warranties, travel and/or supply costs for trainings, professional
development trainings, time and effort of their employees in support of the GEAR UP
team at GSD for implementation of the service or professional development planning
etc. Donations are made for the benefit of GEAR UP students. A vendor must document
how much it would charge for its standard pricing (must not exceed MSRP) and then
document its GEAR UP grant pricing for the items. This allows GEAR UP to document the
grant pricing as part of its received match. In this instance most of the matched funds
will be received from the manufacturer Texas Instrument itself vs the resellers. A
vendor submitting a bid must be an authorized Texas Instrument reseller so that the full
capacity of the grant is received. Grant amount will not be used as part of the award
decision. Award will be based upon the final cost bid to GSD.
