NOTICE INVITING BIDS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Public Works Department of the City of Dublin, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin, County of Alameda, State of California, 94568, until the hour of 2:00 p.m., on May 2, 2019, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in City Hall of the City of Dublin, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin, California, for the “Project” entitled:
Park Wayfinding Signs
Project No. PK0414
This project provides for
fabrication and installation of wayfinding signs at
Heritage Park and Museums, Emerald Glen Park and Fallon Sports Park
as shown in the Specifications, Special Provisions, and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the City Engineer.
Contractors bidding the project are required to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference prior to bidding. The
pre-bid conference is scheduled for April 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. or April 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., and will be located at the
Heritage Park and Museums, 6600 Donlon Way, Dublin CA.
Bids will not be accepted from contractors that do not attend one of the pre-bid meeting. Sub-contractors are not required to attend the pre-bid conference.

All bidders must possess a valid class C-45 California contractor’s license and bids must include bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount.
DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS:
Contractor and subcontractors listed on the bid proposal must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5, and must furnish electronic certified payroll records to the Labor Commissioner. The successful bidder shall pay not less than the general prevailing wage rate
of per diem wages to all workers employed on this project.
A firm that has provided architectural or engineering services to the Department for this contract before bid submittal for this contract is prohibited from any of the following: (1) submitting a bid; (2) subcontracting for any part of the work; or (3) supplying materials to any contractor or subcontractor working on the project.
