Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Board of Massage Therapists
On June 17, 2022, the Board of Massage Therapists adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 79 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern the adoption of a process and standards to apply for a temporary military courtesy license to practice as a massage therapist in the state.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor (or designee) on September 16, 2022, and will go into effect on October 16, 2022. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 244, January 2023 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
