Natural Gas - Aspen

The City of Statesboro is obtaining bids from experienced and qualified Utility Contractors and/or General Contractors who are interested in submitting a proposal and entering into a contract for the furnishing of material, labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals for the construction and installation of approximately 3,800 feet of 6” steel gas main to serve Aspen. It is the intent of the City of Statesboro to encourage participation by minority and female owned business enterprises (MFBE) for all procurement processes. The construction phase of this project shall include a minimum 20% minority or female business enterprise participation of total construction cost. All submittals for this invitation to bid must include a statement acknowledging compliance with 20% MFBE requirement at time for submittal of sealed bids. To be considered, the bid shall include a copy of the Utility Contractors License, appropriate insurance certificate and a summary list of contractor employees showing tasks and expiration dates for Operator Qualification under the current GMA OQ Plan.
