Multi-Building Elevator Replacement
Description:
The State University of New York at Cortland will receive sealed bids for project number
20220029 Multi-Building Elevator Replacement until 2:00PM local time on August 27, 2024 at Whitaker Hall Rm 201, 4 Pashley Drive, Cortland NY 13045, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. There is significant construction on campus so all attendees should use the Park Center parking lot, accessed from the Route 281 entrance to campus.
Each Phase will be as follows:
• Phase I - Modernization of Winchell Hall Elevator #1
o To begin as soon as possible after contract approval.
o Substantial completion no later than 8/15/2025.
• Phase II - Modernization of Neubig Hall Elevator #1 and Old Main Elevator #2
o Start date 5/19/2025.
o Substantial completion no later than 8/15/2025.
• Phase III- Modernization of Park Center Elevator #1 and Old Main Elevator #1
o Start date 5/18/2026.
o Substantial completion no later than 8/14/2026.
Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations:

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $45.00, made payable to Syracuse Blueprint, is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through will be held on August 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Meet at Old Main, Brown Auditorium, 1 Gerhart Dr., Cortland, NY 13045 with walk-throughs to follow. A parking permit must be requested through

Please submit all Requests for Information to Architectural Resources, at
VTEAdministrator@archres.com, no later than August 15, 2024.
Bids must be submitted duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
