Moving Services Term Contract

State University of New York College Cortland will receive sealed Proposals for
Project No. 2023 Moving Term, for time and material type work and
services for the following trades: Moving Services until 11:00 a.m. Local Time on June
7, 2023, at which time submission of two original executed copies of the Bid Form and all
attachments specified in the Project Manual are required in a sealed envelope
marked accordingly.

Sealed bids shall be submitted and mailed or delivered to SUNY Cortland, Planning,
Design & Construction, Attn: Kristi Hughston, 219 Whitaker Hall Cortland, NY, 13045,
or mailed via USPS to SUNY Cortland, Attn: Kristi Hughston, PO Box 2000,
Cortland, NY 13045. Bids will be opened publicly in Room 201, Whitaker Hall, SUNY
Cortland.

For each proposal submitted, the following information will be read aloud: 1) name
of contractor; and 2) The markup percentages entered on the Bid Form. SUNY
Cortland will review all bids and verify accuracy of minimum qualifications and
submission of all required documents. Bidders will be formally notified of the official
results in writing within one week from the bid opening.

The term contracts will be signed with selected contractors for the specified period
of time to engage and complete numerous defined projects each with a value of
$100,000 or less. Each separate project will be called a “RELEASE”. The Term
Contract will be issued for a period of one year with the option for two, one-year
renewals with the mutual agreement of the contracting parties. SUNY Cortland will
award one contract.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held May 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with
all potential bidders invited to attend at Room 201, Whitaker Hall, SUNY Cortland.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained
in the Information for Bidders including completed Bid Form, proof of Minimum
Qualification, New York State Finance Law §§139-j and 139-k, Vendor Responsibility
Questionnaire. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of
New York to encourage minority and women owned business enterprise and service
disabled veteran owned business participation in this project by contractors,
subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are required to make a good faith
effort to meet diversity goals as follows: 30% MWBE, 6% SDVOB, and 10%
minority workforce and 10% female workforce.
