NOTICE AND CALL FOR BID
Monroe & East Teton Water Project
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received at the Multi-Use Room in City Hall, 50 East 2nd North in Green River, Wyoming, until
local time on
January 28, 2021;
at which time and place all bids in hand will be publicly opened and read.
The following is a brief description of the project: The project is comprised of water line construction on Monroe, a Local Street, and East Teton, a Local Street, within the City of Green River, from Veteran’s Parks easterly across East Teton, then turning north up East Teton This project includes the installation of new water main along Monroe and East Teton, consisting of approximately 2100 LF of 12” PVC water main, and the installation of valving/fittings. New storm sewer catch basin and approximately 130 LF of 15” ADS storm sewer pipe – all within the City of Green River, Wyoming including asphalt and concrete removal/replacement, alley grading, and associated miscellaneous work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for
JANUARY 14, 2021 at 1:30 pm
local time beginning at the Old Courtroom (lower level) in City Hall, 50 East 2nd North in Green River, Wyoming.
No bid shall be awarded by the City until such time as the City has had sufficient time to study all bids to see that said bid will meet the standards as set out in the specifications.
All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of bid. No checks will be accepted. Bid Bond must be issued in the name of the bidder. Successful bidder shall be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds each in the total amount of the bid.
The General Contractor listed in the Bid package must be currently listed in the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s Prequalified Contractors List with an unexpired membership to be prequalified to submit a Bid for the
Monroe & East Teton Water Project.
Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, "preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state".
Preference shall be given to Wyoming resident contractors as defined by Wyoming Statutes, Section 16-6-101, in accordance with the provisions of Section 16-6-102, and in accordance with the provisions of Section 16-6-103 with respect to limitations on nonresident subcontractors by a successful resident bidder. Proof of Wyoming Department of Employment certification of residency status, if applicable, must accompany the bid. All bids shall be subject to the Wyoming Preference Act of 1971, Wyoming Statutes, Section 16-6-201, et seq, regarding the employment of Wyoming laborers.
The Green River Governing Body hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bids.
