    Instructions
    The Columbia County School District, 4781 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, Georgia 30809
    (CCSD) is soliciting proposals for price breaks of quantity 6 - 20 Modular Buildings and
    Install within the county, under Request HC-10-26-21B.
    Proposals are due no-later-than October 26, 2021 2:00 p.m. 4781 Hereford Farm Road,
    Evans GA 30809.
    Due to the strong possibility of delivery issues, please also email a copy of bid to
    Hudson.Chandler@CCBOE.net. Request confirmation of receipt.
    All applicable federal laws, state laws, (including D.O.T. regulations and permits)
    municipal ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities (e.g., Fire
    Department) having jurisdiction over the moving and setup of portable classroom projects
    shall apply to the Contract throughout the performance period, and they shall be deemed
    to be included in the Contract as if written herein.
    Each Vendor must inform himself of the existing conditions relating to the moving,
    delivery, setup of portable classrooms and the employment of labor thereon. Failure to do
    so will not relieve a successful Vendor of its obligation to furnish all material and labor
    necessary to carry out the provisions of the contract. As such, all material and labor
    necessary to move, deliver, and/or setup portable classrooms as may be contracted as a
    result of this request, shall be deemed to be included in all proposed unit pricing.

    Any technical questions regarding anticipated work to be performed as a result of this RFP
    shall be directed, prior to the quote due date and time, to the Project Representative. All
    other Contract-related questions or issues shall be directed to the CCSD Purchasing
    Supervisor, Hudson Chandler, at (706) 541-2723 x5108.
    Vendor is responsible for the cleanup and haul-off of all trash, debris, etc. generated by the
    Successful Vendor during the performance of any work conducted under a Contract leading
    from this RFP.

    The following criteria will also be required of the successful Vendor:
    The Vendor shall be held responsible for the accuracy of measurements and fit of
    components.
    The Vendor is required to have a GC license from the State of GA and is responsible
    for handling permitting for the trailers.
    The Vendor is to submit the specs/floor plans with their bid package. Each unit is to
    be used as a classroom.
    The work specified herein shall be done by skilled people, fully experienced in this
    type of work.
    The Successful Vendor must provide and pay for any escort required for transporting
    over any road, street or highway.
    All decking, ramps, skirting, canopies, fencing, electric, public address, fire, or
    security wiring attachments will be handled outside the scope of this quote.
    Any portable classroom connecting/butting together and other extra-ordinary
    conditions (such as, rolling and digging out transport, if necessary) are to be
    considered as additional charges. The Project Representative shall be notified in
    advance of any such extra-ordinary expense. No such work shall be performed
    without prior written authorization from the Project Representative. Such
    authorized charges are to separately itemize on invoices submitted to CCSD for
    payment.
    Vendor will be responsible for making all usual and customary transportation
    provisions for all portables, including but not limited to the obtaining of necessary
    permits. All buildings are to be setup in accordance with all local codes and as close
    to the ground as practical to allow for handicapped access.
    The vendor provided units have to be in such condition that they are accepted by the fire
    marshal (safe, sanitary and approved for classroom use).
    All vendors are being provided the same time and opportunity to request any additional
    information or clarification concerning this bid in advance of the specified bid due date
    and time. Therefore, failure to seek such information or clarification prior to the bid
    closing shall all be deemed to have been fully asked and answered in advance of the bid
    closing. All questions or request for information relating to this solicitation shall be
    directed to the attention of Cliff Sanders, CCSD Director of FMO.
    This Request for Quote is a solicitation only, and is not intended and shall not be construed
    as an offer to enter into any contract or other agreement. No purchase of goods and/or
    services can be made as a result of this solicitation without issuance, in advance, of a
    written Contract Award Notice and a formal written release against the Contract such as a
    General Contract for Services, Purchase Order, etc.
    This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State
    of Georgia. Vendor agrees and consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the
