Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport intends to issue a full and open competition solicitation of the following non-commercial supply: MK48 Wire Coil Cover Assembly in accordance with drawings 5893815 REV K, 8635276 REV-, NOR 48-NUE18050-0001 and all associated drawings and specifications.
The resultant contract is anticipated to be awarded as a firm fixed price (FFP) contract with base quantities, first article (FA) units, and eight (8) option quantities.
The base quantities will be for a total of 224 units which includes four (4) FA units.
The options will be for four (4), 10 units per option, and four (4), 58 units per option, for a total of 272 units.
Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), which are not separately priced, will be required.

The procurement will be solicited utilizing full and open competition based on results from Sources Sought Notice N0025319R0007.

The closing date of the solicitation will be approximately 30 days after the posting date, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation.
Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies.
However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
The drawings and technical information referenced in this solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Act and are ONLY available to vendor's/contractor's appointed data custodian that are registered with Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) Joint Certification Program (JCP).
