Minor Capital #Job Order Contract JOC 19-045 - Job Order Contract - JOC - 19-045 (For Facilities Minor Capital Outlay Projects)
Job Order Contract - JOC 19-045 (For Facilities Minor Capital Outlay Projects) The Job Order Contract (JOC) is a competitively bid, firm fixed-price, indefinite quantity contract. The scope of work includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks and specifications that have established unit prices. Contractors are bidding on a mark-up, not on a project cost. The University intends to award two separate JOC agreements under two separate solicitations at the same time, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each solicitation for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, rehabilitation, demolition and minor construction of the infrastructure, buildings, structures, or other public works. Bidders may bid separately on one or both of the contracts; however, only one contract may be awarded to any bidder. The apparent lowest responsible bidder shall be determined sequentially for each contract in the following order: JOC 19-044; JOC 19-045. The apparent lowest responsive and responsible bidder on each JOC contract will be excluded from consideration for the successive contract. JOC 19-044 and JOC 19-045 will have a minimum value of $25,000 and a maximum value of $1,000,000. The University reserves the right to increase the maximum value of JOC 19-044 and JOC 19-045 up to $3,000,000. The term of each JOC contract is 365 calendar days. Bid date and time: Thursday, January 24, 2018 - 2:00PM Contractor License: B (General Contractor) Prequalification: All contractors must be prequalified prior to submitting a bid proposal package. Contractors shall register and log in to “PlanetBids” to apply for prequalification at http://www.calstate.edu/cpdc/cm/contractor_prequal_bidders.shtml . Supplementary Prequalification also applies.
