Millville Berm Maintenance

The City of Panama City, Florida (the “City”), through the City’s Engineering Department will accept sealed bids in the form of paper copy and USB flash drive for PC22-054 MILLVILLE BERM MAINTENANCE until 2:00 p.m. CT on Monday, October 24, 2022, in person at the Purchasing Division, via U.S. Mail, or courier service at Room 238, on the 2 ^nd floor of City Hall, 501 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32401. Bids submitted in person, via U.S. Mail, or courier service must be plainly marked, “BID NO. PC22-054 MILLVILLE BERM MAINTENANCE”. You may also submit bids electronically through the City’s Bonfire Portal at www.panamacity.bonfirehub.com .

The Purchasing Division scheduled a Voluntary Pre-Bid Conference, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. CT, at City Hall, 501 Harrison Avenue, Lower Level, Room 10, Panama City, FL 32401. Attendance is strongly encouraged, but not required.

Bids are invited upon the items and quantities of work as follow:

The Project consists of:

1. Accessing the damaged slope through removed fence sections, clearing, grubbing, excavating the damaged overburden to undamaged native soil, replacing the excavated damaged volume with compacted soils,

2. Furnish and install non-woven felt fabric with edge and midfield anchor trenches,

3. Furnishing and installing a geoweb slope protection mat, placing crushed stone infill, toe armor rip rap, and slope edge treatments,

4. Furnishing and installing a cutoff trench drain at top of slope with down drains to bottom of slope and sand cement bag outlet protection,

5. Repairing water line and standpipe at top of bank.
